  1. "I definitely would like some info on cat diets. I feel wary on feeding her cheap cat food because I am currently on a limited fixed income. But I do plan on getting her far better food when I get a job. C:"

The food is very important because with lymphoma, it often starts in the intestinal tract as it did for Cleo.

Next time I stock up I’ll take pics and stuff.

  3. "I'm following this because your kitty is a real fighter and also learn how to keep my new kitten healthy. She actually is another black kitty like Cleo C:"

Oh, yay! If you want to know about the types of diet my cats have, I’d be glad to do a post about it.

Thank you, Slugbox! I don’t think my mommy and daddy will let me have a mouse but I have a feeling I’m getting a big plate of salmon! :00

  7. They’re saying her remission is very rare. Dr. Downing says Cleo is very special.
I really wanna celebrate her year of successful treatment now. Gahh, what should I get her? I wish I could take her to the park or something… xD
I’m really emotional right now, just so proud of her.

  9. I haven’t been able to go with my dad to take Cleo to chemo the past few months because I’ve been given earlier shifts on Saturdays… Bawww, I hate not going! Cleo is so cute when she rides in the car. She has so much fun.

  11. I wanna get Cleo a present to celebrate one year of successful treatment… Hmmm. Maybe a small chair so she can sit by the heater since she’s always stealing MY chair. Idunno. What should I get her?

  19. This month, it’s been a year since Cleo had emergency surgery and then later was diagnosed with cancer.
I’m so happy for this time with her, and that she’s been taking chemotherapy well for a year now. Everyone at the special clinic loves her and carries her around the place like a baby. She still enjoys the car rides to every chemo appointment, and though her attitude changes once we go inside, she always perks up when we get back in the car.
Lymphoma is incurable, but treatable. And Cleo is proof that a pet go under chemotherapy and still have amazing quality of life. My mother and grandfather tried to tell me to put her down immediately after she was diagnosed. After my dad and I did research and talked to the cancer doctor, we said no. Look at her. She runs around and plays. She wrestles with the other cats. She eats like a pig. She snuggles every moment we’re home. That is not a cat that needs to be put down.
If anyone wants to know more about specifically what chemo she is doing, and what her holistic diet is (which has been just amazing for all our cats), message me.
